Eggs hurled at Murali in Hobart

No sunny side to this.

This is the meaning of racism. A random set of dark-skinned people walking on a dark street (even if we grant that this wasn't about Murali) get abused and have eggs thrown at them. And they were up in arms about the non-event involving Bhajji.

All the maxims and proverbs one can assemble about glass houses, mirrors, fingers pointing back, spitting in the air, keeping one's house in order and such, together cannot express the sheer hypocrisy of the Bhajji incident.

Was le affaire Bhajji an act of racism by an Indian towards a half-black Australian athlete, or an act of racism by a white institution (ICC, though I shouldn't really have needed to spell it out) towards an Indian athlete?
